  • Carob contains excellent nutritional value like vitamins A and B, calcium, magnesium, protein, potassium and other nutrients.

Carob Truffles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans or use favorite nut
  • 1/4 cup raw carob powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup raw agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • water

Servings:

1 Dozen

Directions

  1. Place the pecans in a food processor and chop finely.
  2. Add other ingredients except the water and thoroughly combine to a dough-like consistency.
  3. Add a few drops of water if the dough is too stiff.
  4. Form the mixture into 12 small balls by rolling the dough in your hands.
  5. Place balls on a plate and roll in extra shredded coconut, if desired.
  6. Before serving, chill your treat in the refrigerator for one hour or in the freezer for 15 minutes.
